Ditte Brasso Sørensen
Ditte Maria Brasso Sørensen has a PhD. in political science from the University of Copenhagen and has worked professionally with the EU for many years - both as a consultant for public actors, universities and private companies.
Since March 2022, Ditte Sørensen has been employed at Think Tank EUROPA. Ditte has worked extensively on EU industrial and climate policy, including food and agricultural policies.
Ditte holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen (2017), an MSc in Political Science (University of Copenhagen) and has studied at Columbia University and the New School for Social Research.
Prior to joining Think Tank EUROPA, Ditte Sørensen worked at Macro Advisory Partners in London, where she prepared geopolitical risk analyses for international companies and governments. Ditte Sørensen has worked with the EU and European politics for a number of years, both as an EU project advisor for Danish municipalities and regions and as an EU advisor for Danish universities. In addition to this, Ditte has previously worked as Policy and Project Director at STRING.
Ditte Sørensen's research focuses on the political groupings of the European Parliament and the development of the European national conservative group, as well as the role of the EU and national institutions in the democratic architecture of the EU. Besides working at Think Tank EUROPA, Ditte Sørensen is a writer for the daily newspaper Information.
