What information do we collect about you?

We collect information about you when you use our website, sign up for our newsletter or sign up for our events. We may collect the following information about you: name, e-mail address, job title and organisation/company.

All recipients of our newsletter have actively consented to receive this. If you have subscribed to our newsletter, we will keep your information until you revoke your consent.

All participants in our events give consent to receive invitations to similar events. If you have been registered for an event with us, we will store your information for a maximum of twelve months. You can revoke your consent at any time.

How and for how long do we use your information?

We may use your personal information for a number of purposes, including:

  • Receive your wishes and inquiries.

  • Contact you in connection with your inquiry.

  • Find out more via our newsletter, which you sign up for yourself. If you receive our newsletter, we will keep your information until you revoke your consent.

  • Store personal information in connection with. attending events for up to twelve months in order to invite you to similar future events.

Your personal information will not be used for marketing or other commercial services.

Who has access to your information?

Only employees of Think Tank EUROPA who need the information to complete our work processes have access to your information.

We do not sell, rent or share your information to/with third parties.

In cases where Think Tank EUROPA is hosting an event with one or more hosts, the list of participants can be shared with the co-hosts.

Your rights and choices

You are free to sign up for and opt-out of communication from Think Tank EUROPA. If you do not wish to receive communications from us, including newsletters and invitations, you can unsubscribe by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our emails. We do not contact private individuals without prior consent.

We occasionally invite professionals to events we believe are of legitimate interest. You can always unsubscribe from invitations by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our emails. You can also unsubscribe by writing to kontakt@thinkeuropa.dk.

You have the right to be informed of the personal data we process about you. You can also object to the use of information at any time. You can also revoke your consent for information about you to be processed. If the information processed about you is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected or deleted. Inquiries about this can be made to kontakt@thinkeuropa.dk. You can complain about our processing of your personal data to the Danish Data Protection Agency.

Categories for data registration

Think Tank EUROPA has different categories of registered.

Newsletter subscribers: Managed via our newsletter system Mailchimp, which is an external service provider. Subscribers are also invited in the newsletter to relevant events. Receipt of the newsletter depends on active registration, which can always be revoked.

Participants in events: Handled via Eventbrite and Mailchimp. Read about Mailchimp's data protection here. Read about Eventbrite's data protection here. By registering for events, we agree that we can invite to similar future events. The consent can be revoked at any time. The personal information is stored for a maximum of twelve months.

Members and other partners: Individual members as well as representatives of organizations that have signed membership of the think tank are kept. For reasons of collaboration, contracts and contact information about partners who have been involved in projects with the EUROPA Think Tank are also stored.

Employees, etc .: Information about employees, management, senior advisers, board members and members of the Think Tank's Advisory Board as well as members of our expert panels are also stored.
