EUROPE CONFERENCE: European choices in times of crisis
Europe is facing several important choices in 2024 – in June, EU citizens will be electing a new European Parliament and shortly thereafter a new Commission and a new President of the European Council. The EU also faces difficult choices over its long-term approach to the war in Ukraine, the EU’s faltering competitiveness, and what will happen after the coming US Presidential election. At the same time, the EU must decide how to carry forward its green agenda and prepare itself to act in a world of growing great-power rivalry. Think Tank Europa will be putting these difficult choices into perspective at this year’s flagship Europe conference.
