Our future in Europe

Just three weeks ahead of the referendum on Denmark’s participation in the EU’s justice and home affairs cooperation Think Tank EUROPA open the doors for our Annual Conference with the Prime Minister of Denmark, Lars Løkke Rasmussen, among the keynote speakers.

How deeply should Denmark engage in finding solutions to the challenges that currently confront us all as European citizens? The ongoing refugee crisis is but the latest of several crucial tests for Europe’s leaders. How they solve it is likely to have a major impact on next year’s referendum in the United Kingdom on continued membership of the European Union.

Leading decision makers, business leaders, top civil servants, researchers and media are invited to discuss the future of the European Union and how to secure a stronger engagement from Denmark. More than 200 participants are expected to join the conference.

Keynote speakers includes – besides Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen – Troels Ørting Jørgensen, Group Chief Security Officer at Barclays and former vice-director of Europol and Frances Fitzgerald, Ireland’s minister for Justice and Equality (tbc).
