In the next few years the EU needs to find a strategy towards a number of geostrategic challenges: Artificial intelligence is one of the key challenges in the next phase of digitalization.
How can Europe set new standards for artificial intelligence in an era of increasing competition with China and the United States? The European Commission and several member states have launched AI-strategies, but what should be the next steps for Europe?
At this public event Thomas Gomart, the director of the leading French think tank IFRI, will be presenting his new book on Europe's biggest geostrategic challenges, L’affolement du monde, 10 enjeux géopolitiques. After the keynote Thomas Gomart and a group of leading experts will discuss how Europe can respond in the global competition on artificial intelligence.
Registration is required.
